We’re the people behind the scenes making downtown Troy the place you actually want to be, not just drive through.
We’re a nonprofit with a big love for historic buildings, small businesses, and the kind of community energy that makes you cancel your Netflix plans and go downtown instead. For more than 36 years, we’ve been quietly (and sometimes loudly) doing the work that keeps downtown Troy thriving; supporting local businesses, creating places people want to gather, and making sure our historic charm doesn’t turn into “cute but closed.”
What do we actually do? A little bit of everything. We help businesses succeed, turn empty spaces into active ones, plan events that bring people together (yes, even in winter), advocate for smart growth, and generally act as downtown’s hype team, problem solver, and occasional chaos coordinator.
We’re not a membership club. There’s no secret handshake. Just a whole lot of collaboration, community pride, and people who care deeply about making downtown Troy better today than it was yesterday.
In short: we love downtown Troy, we fight for it, and we make sure it keeps showing up as its best self… brick by brick, business by business, and event by event.
