Hometown Holiday

  • Troy Main Street, Inc. 405 SW Public Square, Ste 231 Troy, OH 45373 USA (map)

November 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th

The holiday magic is returning to Downtown Troy with Hometown Holiday, a festive shopping event designed to kick off the holiday season and showcase the incredible variety of local businesses that make downtown shine.

Hometown Holiday invites residents and visitors alike to experience the charm of Troy’s historic downtown as local shops roll out special deals, seasonal merchandise, and plenty of holiday cheer. This beloved annual tradition brings the community together to celebrate the start of the shopping season in a charming small town, complete with twinkling lights, friendly faces, and one-of-a-kind finds.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the Red Envelope Program, an exciting shopping promotion that rewards customers for supporting local retailers. Here’s how it works:

During the event, participating businesses will give customers who spend a qualifying amount a sealed red envelope containing a mystery prize, discount, or giveaway. Shoppers are encouraged to return during a designated redemption period to make another purchase and open their red envelope at checkout to reveal their surprise! This is determined by each individual store.

Prizes and discounts are also determined by each individual store, making every envelope a unique and exciting reason to come back downtown for more holiday shopping.

Participating businesses include:

  • Arkhouse

  • Poppin’ Off

  • Echo Boutique

  • The Olive Oasis

  • Poppy Lane Boutique

  • Trojan Florist and Gifts

“Hometown Holiday is one of our favorite times of year,” said Amy Breinich, Executive Director of Troy Main Street. “It’s a chance to celebrate the season, support local businesses, and enjoy the spirit of community that makes downtown Troy such a special place. The Red Envelope Program adds an extra touch of fun and gives people a great reason to come back and shop local again in December.”
