A “Holiday Market” will be held by the Miami County OH Farmers & Artisan Market on Saturday November 9th 2024 from 9am to 12noon at the Troy REC located at 11 North Market Street, Troy, Ohio,45373 located in downtown Troy.
The Farmers Markets will feature local Farmers, Food Producers and Artisans offering a variety of homemade items. The products will vary at each market depending on availability of vendors and products during the market months. Free admission to the market will be at the Market Street Entrance. The following food programs will be accepted, SFMNP, WIC and SNAP/EBT.
A FREE raffle drawing will be held at the market for attendees.
Some of the products that will be featured will include locally raised beef and pork, frozen and canned, local honey, jams, jellies, culinary mixes, tea blends, garden seeds and plants. Four types of potatoes including red skin, yellow, white and blue potatoes. Homemade baked goods of all types including quick breads, sweet treats, pizzelles, snack mixes and fudge. Artisan items include amazing quilted things and crocheted items of many types, hand painted items including, tiles and ornaments. Check out the fantastic line of Handcrafted Soaps, Bath Fizzies, Body Butter, Brown Sugar Scrub, Shaving Bar, Shampoo Bar and Laundry Butter/ Laundry Soap. Self-care herbal care items, such as lotions, salves, tinctures, sachets including lavender, rose, moth away, catnip and sleep sachet will also be offered. Comforting house plants, handmade plant hangers, jewelry, unique linens, stone mosaics, note cards and other ornamentals. home and body products, such as room and linen spray, magnesium spray and dry shampoo.
The “Holiday Market” is an excellent place to shop for folks on your holiday gift giving list.
Many of the “Holiday Market” vendors are regular vendors from the summer downtown “Cherry Street Local Market” a local outdoor Troy Farmers Market held June through September every summer.
